Dear Estragonauta,
We’d never expect, from the beginning of this period of health emergency, to be even now so far away from our activities recovery. The outlook for the coming months is dramatic: the Covid-19 containment measures will not allow massive gatherings.
Consequently, all the concerts in the club, outdoor festivals and cultural events will be attached to a beautiful memory - at least until the end of the year -.
This means that we will not be able to participate in any kind of show or enjoy any precious opportunity to be all together for a long time.
In almost thirty years of activity we’ve never face such a tough situation. Whenever we experienced a difficulty, we never gave up: we’ve always worked hard to face it, putting even more passion into it and working independently with very high intensity.
The obstacles are made to be overcome and we’ve always been ready, always being presents, even when it came to helping those in need.
This time it's different: it's an unprecedented challenge and we're not sure we can face it alone. There are no resources to go through this uncertain period and the next few weeks will be crucial.
We need at least 50,000 euros to support the management costs of the coming months and put ourselves in order to be able to restart!
This is the reason, without veils, that pushes us to promote a fundraiser with the awareness that, in concomitance, there are certainly more noble and necessary campaigns in this moment of absolute emergency.
Nevertheless, today more than ever, we also need your support!
How many times have you come to have fun under the stage? How many times have we toasted and danced together?
We certainly can't wait to reopen to the public, see you and embrace you again ... but in the meantime, while we continue to work harder than ever, if you can and if you want to help us, this is the time to do so: every euro that we will collect will serve to preserve our history, to safeguard the club of a lifetime, to protect the future of a place that has represented a milestone in live music in recent years.

We will continue to plan tomorrow's events.
To guarantee all the activities that we managed to offer until yesterday!
In every form: the Club, The BOtanique, Irlanda in Festa, Oktoberfest, the Joe Strummer Arena and the Festivals in the Parco Nord, the Finger Food, Europavox at the Municipal Theater, the New Year's Eve in the square and the organization of all the other events in town!
But this time ... we can no longer do these things alone.
We must remember that all this success is "happened" thanks to you!

ESTRAGON è una realtà del territorio bolognese conosciuta in Italia e in Europa per il suo lavoro e per la sua produzione di eventi nel settore musicale, festival e attività di internazionalizzazione. Attiva da 28 anni, l'Estragon Club è diventato locale di riferimento per scatenarsi ai ritmi dell'indie, ricaricarsi con l’energia dell'electro clash, dondolarsi ai suoni reggae e "rifarsi le orecchie" con il miglior rock in circolazione. Uno dei locali più “ospitali” della città di Bologna, sia che questo comporti invasioni di metallari in divisa di pelle, oppure orde di ragazzi con cravattini stretti e occhialoni indie-nerd o, ancora, qualcuno che sia semplicemente alla ricerca di concerti-evento o di una serata rock o world music. ESTRAGON Club, motore della cooperativa, ha ospitato i più grandi artisti internazionali ed italiani: Editors, Block Party, Franz Ferdinand, Paul Weller, The Lumineers, Ramones, Skunk Anansie, Modest Mouse, e molti altri. La programmazione conta una presenza di circa 150.000 spettatori a stagione. Fra i Festival organizzati: > BOtanique, cuore pulsante della rassegna estiva del Comune di Bologna porta nel centro della città una media di 50.000 visitatori ad edizione. Per festeggiare i 10 anni della manifestazione l'edizione 2019 è stata “100% Plastic Free”. Il report di HERA ha comunicato che il BOtanique è stata la manifestazione che ha avuto il più basso impatto di rifiuto pro capite dell’intera estate bolognese. > Finger Food Festival, progetto itinerante di integrazione culturale attraverso il cibo, è caratterizzato da un format unico che intende valorizzare l’arte culinaria di strada, i birrifici artigianali e le musiche del folclore internazionale, offrendo una miscellanea e cosmopolita programmazione. > Irlanda in Festa, la più grande rassegna in Europa, Irlanda esclusa, che celebra il meglio della tradizione e della cultura celtica, fra birre esclusive, gastronomia, sport, attività ludiche e folklore.
